Your agents already go into strangers' houses alone.

Belayr puts a timer on every showing. If an agent doesn't check in, the people they picked are told within a minute, with the address, the prospect's name and number, and where the agent actually is.

The desk below is live, and everything on this page is built. Two of them are narrower than they sound, so: calendar import reads a calendar file the agent picks rather than connecting to their calendar app, and adding time straight from the notification works in a browser; the iPhone app receives the warning, but you add the time with the app open.

What agents told NAR

86%

have shown a property alone.

48%

have shown vacant homes with poor or no phone signal. Belayr's clock runs on our servers, so a timer still fires when the phone cannot reach anyone.

53%

say their brokerage has a standard safety procedure. Another 30% don't know whether it does.

From the 2024 Member Safety Residential Report, the latest the National Association of Realtors has published.

No procedure at your office yet? Start with ours: an office policy, an agent checklist and what to do when an alert comes in, free to print.

You cannot use Belayr to watch your agents, and that's why they'll use it

Agent safety tools fail in a specific way: the brokerage buys it, the agents work out it tracks them, and they stop arming it. Then you're paying for a safety net nobody switches on.

What the desk can see

Its roster: each agent's photo and carThat a showing is armed, and its clockThe address the agent entered for itWhat a responder needs, the moment a timer firesAnd it tells you, rather than waiting to be looked at

What it can never see

Where an agent is, unless a timer firesA walk home, or any timer that is not a showingAny route from a showing that ended fine

The last of those is a browser notification, so it needs notifications switched on in the browser you keep the desk open in. The desk offers to do that the first time you open it. A board nobody is looking at is not a safety net, and at nine in the evening nobody is looking at it.

Routes from clean showings are deleted after seven days. Not as a policy we could change quietly, but because the job that deletes them is the same one that keeps our storage bill down. It has to run.

What an agent actually does

Before

Picks the showing out of their calendar. Address, buyer and length come across on their own.

Arriving

Photographs the car. One tap, and the clock starts.

Running late

Adds fifteen minutes from the notification, without opening anything.

Leaving

Checks in at the car. Done, and the route starts its seven day clock.

What the office actually does

An alert

A notification reaches everyone watching, and the board opens on the address and what to do first.

Police

One printable page with what an officer asks for: where, who, their car, and who they were meeting.

The office TV

Pair a screen with a code. It shows who is out and any alerts, and never an address.

Managers

Office managers watch the board and answer alerts with you, and they are free.

$9 per agent, per month

Billed to the brokerage. Agents keep their personal use free, on the same login, whether or not you keep paying. Nobody loses their own safety net when a contract ends.

  • The owner and office managers are free.
  • Founding offices: the first ten pay $5 per agent for their first year.
  • Pay yearly and get two months free.
  • No minimum and no setup fee.

Goes to one person. We will not add you to anything, and there is no number to give us.
